I was late subscribing and now the SIM doesn't work

This has happened a few times, the service is generally not disconnected immediately, but will be cut off eventually.

If you find your SIM not working but you have subscribed, it might have been disconnected before you subscribed!.. In which case, it pays to make a support ticket, so our staff can reactivate the SIM.

We are charged for reactivating these SIM's, so will pass this cost onto you.

History won't show stops - it's like I've been driving for days?

There is a known bug with certain installations, where the accessories wire is not connected to the car, the tracker therefore cannot detect that the ignition is on. We use that to more precisely determine when the vehicle has stopped.

You can tell this has happened by checking the history, and reading the parameters in the bottom right messages box, if acc=0 is always set, then we are unable to use that parameter to determine your ignition state.

If you do not wish to use this wire, you must change the Accuracy setting from GPS+ACC to just GPS. It will use the location data and velocity to determine when stops happen, allowing you to use reports/history mostly correctly going forward.

It is highly recommended that you connect the ignition wire!

How to set up the relay / immobiliser - How to enable / disable the immobiliser?

We do not cover the actual operation of the cut function at this stage in a video. The manual does cover the wiring set up quite well and the new batch of GTKPRO2 does most of this wiring for you now because the relay is prewired into the harness. Always best for qualified/authorised technicians to connect the relay up.

What to do when installing tracker into my caravan / excavator / boat / trailer / etc

Each situation is different and in some cases our device is not suitable. Example alloy vs fibreglass caravan. Fibreglass is OK, alloy is not OK.

Where is the best location to install tracker?

Page 13 of the GTKPRO2 Manual describes orientation of the tracker. We do not however specify an exact location for 2 reasons. 1) each car/vehicle is different 2) you don’t want to fix this location because you are then telling thieves where to find it.

How to find the total km - location etc of my vehicle?

Usually in reports or History. (The web version, you have to hover the mouse over the trip)

Map is showing that the tracker is in a location where the vehicle is at a different location.

Depending on where you are, and the availability of GPS reception etc, this is common for consumer grade GPS devices. Usually driving around for a bit will stabilise it.

How do I find my tracker?

Using our app or website, it will show you where it is on the map. Go to that location and it will be hidden inside the vehicle you installed it in.

How to check my tracking history?

Click the "History" tab.
In-App = Use the "History" menu item.
Pick the object you want to view the history for, then the period (day/week/etc), then show. History data is grouped into "Drives" (otherwise it's a huge collection of data points).
