Update Payment Method

If you've been a subscriber for a while (Thanks!), then it's likely you'll need to update your stored credit card at some point.

Our payments processor (Stripe) will send you a reminder email about a month before hand. Or, we will contact you directly if there is a problem with the stored card.

How to change the card used for ALL your subscriptions:

  1. Login to gator.net.au (Must be done in the desktop)
  2. Click on "Add Subscription" button on the left, then select ANY of your "Manage Subscription" links.
  3. Click the "Change Payment Method" button, and enter the new card details.
  4. From then on, Gator/Stripe will use that card for ALL of your subscriptions, so you only need to do it once.

The button looks like this on a manage subscription page:

What does the Ignition Wire do?

We use the ignition wire to tell the tracker/server when the car is on. This let's us more accurately report on the vehicle state, and provide better reports. This lets us provide more advanced alarms, like Tow-Away etc, when the car moves without being turned on.

It only receives information on this wire.

It is not intended to cut the ignition with this wire. Do not wire it that way.

App - Enable a disabled Trigger

Triggers can only be disabled in the web-interface, so to re-enable them, you have to login there too!

Login to gator.net.au, Open your account Settings -> Event Triggers -> Edit the Event Trigger -> Select "Active" Checkbox and Save.

Now when the app refreshes, the slash through it will disappear.

Null Island

Null is computer term for nothing, void, empty, or Zero. In this case, it refers to the Latitude/Longitude coordinates 0.0,0.0. Which happens to be in the ocean near Ghana.

We've put a marker here, so you can find out about the point, as it happens every now and then, when your tracking device is unable to see enough Satellites to get a location fix, it records 0,0 for it's location.

Please allow several minutes (outdoors) for accurate Satellite location of your tracker to automatically rectify this.
