Only the Installer will know where it is located in the car, It is recommended that you ask them where they installed it at time of installation.

Acc/Ignition whilst technically different are interchangeable in this regard. In fact Ignition is actually more accurate because how we recommend to have wired it already uses this sensor to record the event.

Click the "History" tab.
In-App = Use the "History" menu item.
Pick the object you want to view the history for, then the period (day/week/etc), then show. History data is grouped into "Drives" (otherwise it's a huge collection of data points).

Usually in reports or History. (The web version, you have to hover the mouse over the trip)

On the app, using the wizard will walk you through the process. The web portal is slightly different, in that you define the area/zone first, then create a zone-in/zone-out trigger that uses that zone. Click Here to view the instructional video for the web portal

Depending on where you are, and the availability of GPS reception etc, this is common for consumer grade GPS devices. Usually driving around for a bit will stabilise it.

Installation

None of our models are suitable for this situation.

We use the ignition wire to tell the tracker/server when the car is on. This let's us more accurately report on the vehicle state, and provide better reports. This lets us provide more advanced alarms, like Tow-Away etc, when the car moves without being turned on.

It only receives information on this wire.

It is not intended to cut the ignition with this wire. Do not wire it that way.

Each situation is different and in some cases our device is not suitable. Example alloy vs fibreglass caravan. Fibreglass is OK, alloy is not OK.

The tracker will need a permanent power supply and also a secondary supply when connected to a vehicle.

There are many ways of achieving this, if any help is required please submit a ticket and we can assist you.

Page 13 of the GTKPRO2 Manual describes orientation of the tracker. We do not however specify an exact location for 2 reasons. 1) each car/vehicle is different 2) you don’t want to fix this location because you are then telling thieves where to find it.
